GOOD TO KNOW

Before you begin.

Create or upload your media first, and add content to any playlist you want to schedule. Saving an event does not pair or select a display: assign the schedule to the intended screen. For advertising, the listing must be configured and active before a customer can book its slots.

For a control’s explanation, hover or focus it on desktop. Open Help & setup at the bottom for this page’s Setup guide. To read an action’s explanation on mobile, open that panel and tap the action; close action help to use controls normally.

THE ADVERTISING FLOW, IN BRIEF

How scheduled ads fit in.

Your own content schedule and paid advertising bookings are different flows. Advertising availability is configured through Public Ad Display; buyers book available slots in Marketplace and assign content in Orders. Cloud Premium Ads uses an impression campaign rather than reserving a calendar slot here.

Example: your own breakfast menu uses your assigned schedule and creates no order; an advertiser’s paid time slot on your listing appears in Received bookings.

01

Create your schedule

Open Schedule → Create Schedule. Use a clear name and choose a folder if needed. Use Search by name in the left library, expand a folder, then click the full schedule row to open its editor. The selected schedule is highlighted.

02

Select a time and open Add Event

Select empty future time in the calendar to open Add Event. Week or day view makes time selection easier. Check Start Date, Start Time, End Date and End Time: a date-cell selection can start at midnight. Choose a Type next. New events use your browser’s timezone, so check your device’s timezone before saving.

03

Media: play one library item

Choose Media, then select an image or video from the media picker. Return to Add Event, review the time window and choose a repeat option. Example: show a welcome image from 09:00 to 10:00. Upload the file in Media first if it is not in your library.

04

Playlist: play a sequence

Choose Playlist and select an existing playlist. The schedule decides when it plays; the playlist contains the media order, durations and transitions. Empty playlists are disabled in the selector. Example: use your breakfast-menu playlist from 08:00 to 11:00 on weekdays.

05

Price: offer advertising time

Choose Price to offer time for sale instead of assigning your own media. Enter the amount in the currency shown. The schedule breaks priced periods into 30-minute slots. Link this schedule to an active Public Ad Display listing so advertisers can book its available slots in Marketplace. A price alone does not create a booking or play an ad.

Price optionHow it works
Per half hour10:00–12:00 at 100 per half hour creates four slots at 100 each.
All period · No Repeat only10:00–12:00 at 400 for the whole period is divided into four slots at 100 each.
With a repeat optionAll period is hidden. The entered price applies to each generated 30-minute slot.

Example amounts use the currency shown in your form and describe slot prices before any checkout fees.

06

Choose how the event repeats

Repeat applies to Media, Playlist and Price. For recurring events, the date range controls which dates are included and the start/end times define the daily window. Example: Playlist + 09:00–18:00 + Every weekday + 8–31 October runs in that window on Monday–Friday within those dates.

Repeat optionDates used
No RepeatOne calendar event across the selected start/end interval.
DailyEvery date in the range, using the same time window.
Every weekday (Mon to Fri)Monday to Friday within the date range.
Every weekendSaturday and Sunday within the date range.
CustomAn interval and selected days or supported month/year boundaries. See the options below.

For overnight or multi-day No Repeat events, verify playback on the actual player: its handling currently differs from the calendar’s continuous-event preview.

07

Custom: set an interval and an ending

Choose Custom to open the repeat settings. Enter how often the event repeats, choose days/weeks/months/years and complete the options for that unit. Choose End and set a date/time, or choose Never for a long-running rule. Save the repeat settings to return to Add Event; then save the event itself.

UnitAvailable settings
DaysEvery N days; for example every 2 days.
WeeksEvery N weeks, on the weekdays you select.
MonthsEvery N months, on the first or last day of the month.
YearsEvery N years; the current form offers the first or last day of the current month.

Monthly/yearly options do not currently offer an arbitrary date such as the 15th. Never uses the system’s configured final year; it is not an unlimited end date.

08

Save, check and edit

Before Save, check the selected media or playlist, dates, times, price and repeat rule. After saving, use Go to date and week/day/list views to inspect the result. Click your content or a priced slot to open its editor. Editing a recurring event changes its repeating rule, not only the clicked occurrence. Review the whole date range for overlaps.

Conflict checks cover loaded calendar events and do not guarantee that every recurrence is conflict-free. Inspect the dates you intend to use, especially when extending a repeated rule.

09

Check booked slots

The calendar separates Booked, Priced slot and Your content. Counts cover the displayed range. Expand Booked slots or click an amber booked event for its time, timezone and assigned-media status. Reserved slots cannot be edited in this calendar: manage the booking through Marketplace Orders → Received bookings. Priced slots are offers, not confirmed bookings.

10

Connect it to playback or a marketplace booking

For your own content, open Display → Settings → Edit, assign this schedule and save. Check the connected player at the scheduled time; use Proof of Play where available. For advertising, connect the schedule to your Public Ad Display listing. The buyer books time in Marketplace and assigns media or a playlist from My bookings; you follow the same order in Received bookings. Network campaigns and impression packages use their own purchase flows.
